I Feel Bored...

... and I am at work. Go figure. I feel like there isn't much to say even though I haven't posted in a while, but that's not true - there is actually quite a bit to say, but since I feel so lethargic it is difficult for me to think about what I should type.

So... as you may have guessed, I'm still basically doing nothing at work. I'm actually starting to get used to it and am a little worried that when I actually have something to do, I'll get really mad and not want to do it. Whatever. Work is boring so I will stop talking about it.

In other news, I went to Bonnaroo in mid-June down in Manchester, TN. It was hot. And dusty. I missed a good number of bands during the day because it was just too damn hot to walk to the stage area... I also missed a few bands that I really wanted to see (The Flaming Lips!) at night because I was just too tired... sounds lame, I know. I guess I am lame. It was over a mile walk from our campsite to the stage area (Centeroo) and after a day of 96 degree heat, and having already walked over 4 miles in the heat and dust, I just couldn't make it to the Lips. I felt really bad about that, because we bought our tickets from a girl who had originally bought them specifically to see the Lips but then had to sell them due to lack of funds... and she told us when we bought them from her that we'd better get to the Flaming Lips show for her!... and we didn't.

Yikes. I shouldn't be posting right now. I'm bored and really tired and just feel like bitching, so I doubt that anything interesting will come out of this post.
It looks like it's going to rain outside. I want to go home and sleep.

Still no master's paper topic to speak of.

Since I can't think of anything else to post, here's a list of 20 ridiculous things that I want right now.... just because I feel like being selfish writing these down...

1) A big serving of Green Curry from the Thai Kitchen on Oakland Ave.
2) A swimming pool... or a hot tub.
3) Warm weather to go along with said swimming pool
4) A Disney World vacation... I know, it's overpriced and overrated... I still like the Mouse House
5) To go back to Cape May... a lot.
6) An old castle with a moat and large gardens
7) A new digital camera
8) To take a photography class with that new camera
9) The ability to travel through time
10) To keep in touch better with my friends
11) A year's supply of groceries from Whole Foods
12) To dance in a thunderstorm... or at least run through one... with other people
13) A kitten that stays kitten-size forever
14) Jeans that actually fit and that don't shrink or stretch
15) A visit to a tropical climate with tropical fish and tropical blue pools of water and tropical flowers
16) A bonfire pit... and s'mores... next to a lake... and a big group of friends to camp with
17) To have enough money and time to travel everywhere
18) To meet Tom Petty (my musical hero)
19) Happiness in a jar - a reserve supply for whenever I need some, it should be spreadable and appropriate for toast, waffles, and bagels
20) To be able to eat peanuts again

  • You should get the Canon 30D because it rocks and will do everything that you'll want it to do for a long time. Then we can go on photography tours. I'll even loan you my book on Photoshop CS3. Could be fun!
